  • Platform engineering advisory. Your team is hitting the point where “just Terraform and hope” stops working. Module boundaries, state ownership, CI/CD design, least-privilege IAM, and the operating model that turns platform into a product.
  • AWS cost optimization. Real optimization. Line-by-line bill review, traced to specific workloads. Most engagements find 30-50% without touching application code. Deeper than “buy Savings Plans.”
  • EKS and container platform architecture. Cluster design, nodegroup sizing, IAM for service accounts, networking that actually scales, control-plane upgrade strategy without drama.
  • Terraform and Terragrunt at organization scale. Module boundaries, state ownership, drift detection, review automation. The boring infrastructure that pays compound interest.
  • Migration and modernization. Legacy to AWS, monolith to services, multi-account untangling. I have done enough of these to know which parts hurt and how to sequence them.

How I work

Project-based. You have a migration, a platform redesign, or a cost problem. I do the work alongside your team and hand over the result.

Hourly advisory. You have good engineers and need a second pair of eyes on architecture, IAM, Terraform modules, or CI/CD shape. We talk when you need to.

Interim platform lead. Your team is between leads, growing fast, or picking up a critical project. I step in for a fixed stretch, set direction, and help hire or promote the permanent lead.
